How Do We Gather Now? Figuring Out Multi-Access Modalities with Rae Ringel
Session 1 of the TAC Workshop Series: Unlocking Multi-Access Gatherings.
When it comes to designing and hosting engagement programs, it seems there are endless options available to us now. But in addition to many logistical questions, it’s not always clear which kind of meeting modality is best for which kind of gathering. Join Rae Ringel, master facilitation practitioner and trainer, and Director of Georgetown’s new, first-of-its-kind Certificate in Facilitation program, for a dive into the strategic tools that can help you rethink your program design, including:
- A diagnostic tool that will help you determine which gatherings should take place online, in-person or multi-access/hybrid;
- Considering questions of equity when designing for hybrid gatherings; and
- Ways to translate your favorite in-person modalities and meeting tools into the virtual space to create seamless and integrated experiences for all participants.
This program is designed with engagement professionals and informal educators in mind, but we encourage all Chicagoland professionals serving Jewish organizations to brush up on the best practices to host engaging gatherings. You are welcome to attend one, two, or all three workshops.
