Key Skills for Managers Supporting Workplace Mental Health

June 20, 2023 at 10:00 am - 11:30 am

According to Mind Share Partners’ 2021 study, three-quarters of full-time U.S. workers reported experiencing at least one symptom of a mental health condition. Despite the prevalence of mental health challenges, only half of this same population believed that mental health was prioritized at their company. Moreover, half of study respondents reported having left previous roles at a company due, at least in part, to mental health reasons, compared to a third (34%) in 2019.

It’s clear that team members’ mental health plays an important role in the success of our organizations, but many of us do not feel equipped to support colleagues and direct reports who are struggling. In this session, you will learn how to create psychological safety as a proactive ally for mental health, navigate the most common mental health scenarios, and create a sustainable culture of work to prevent burnout.

After the session, organizations can sign-up for optional coaching sessions with Mind Share Partners to work through additional questions and/or issues. Please note that participating organizations will bear the cost of these optional coaching sessions ($500/hr).
