Workplace Wellness Workshop
Let’s face it: in a year that upended our reality and vastly increased stress in our personal and professional lives, many of us haven’t had the capacity or tools to address the amplified need for workplace mental wellness – for ourselves or our organizations. In this one-hour workshop, the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) will introduce tools and techniques that will help you take a step toward investing in your and your team’s wellbeing at work.
Participants will learn about NAMI Chicago’s resources, dive deep into the definition of wellness, learn how to recognize when a colleague is struggling, and identify ways to be supportive. Participants will also create their own Wellness Plan to better manage stress and engage in self-care. Together, let’s make the ‘new normal’ a more mindful and balanced one!
Designed for those managing teams or volunteers, this workshop series aims to help you navigate uncertainty, provide you with the tools to lead virtual or hybrid teams, practice workplace wellness for yourself and your colleagues and create a connected, inclusive team. The series is designed to provide you with a holistic development experience, however, you are welcome to register for one, two, or all three workshops.
